Dec 8 2015 had 4 snow tires installed on my old rims replacing old snow tires at the Cobourg Ont Canadian Tire. On thursday Jan. 14, 2016 on a 400 series highway (100 km/h plus) had the drivers side front wheel fall off my 2013 Civic. Fortunately the front fender prevented the wheel from hitting / killing another motorist. After towing and repairs my bill waS $ 458.02 . After presenting that bill to the service manager who dutifully consulted... Read more

I attempted to post a product review for a product that I purchased at Canadian Tire. I indicated that it worked well and explained why I liked it. I also indicated that it had a couple of minor things that customers needed to be aware of, and then listed three things and explained them in detail. These same three things could be found in reviews on many other review sites as well, but were never mentioned in any of reviews on the Canadian... Read more

Don`t understand how Canadian Tire Auto Centers get away with it. The Actions of most of these Auto Centers is appalling. How many people have they ripped off through the years ? Seniors , young people, woman etc. When they are called on it by complaints they said it was only a recommended repair . I have a few problems with Canadian Tire with my family members. 2,300 in needed repairs according to Canadian Tire then a Garage down the street... Read more

I have been a consumer at this Calgary Canadian Tire location for a number of years as it's convenient to where i lived. There have been numerous times though that i have left the store and gotten home to find that the cashier had charged me for an item 2 or even 3x for the same item! They also mark things on the shelf improperly and make it very consusing as to what their 'sale price' is and what is full price. I have watched them do this to... Read more

It made a very loud rattling noise. She went to Canadian Tire and asked if they could look at her Car. Again......................... it was asked if they could tighten two screws on a Muffler Guard ? That's it. You do realize the noise the car makes when a pipe or Muffler or even a Cat Converter is broken or in need of repair ? This car was only making a rattling noise as the Guard was bagging against the bottom of the car. It had two screws missing and l was unable to reach it. My Daughter took the car to your shop and asked them to tighten the... Read more

tried to find out if a certain portable fish finder is completely portable and has its own power supply or does it need to be wired to a heavy marine battery, went to the sports counter and asked about it and the employee just plopped the display model on the counter and i asked to see one in a box and they would not even look it up in their system to see if they had any for me to see what it came with a charger or if it needed to be wired... My 99' Dodge Stratus had a brand new sound that I didn't recognize, so, since it was Sunday and I was visiting family (away from home), I took it Canadian Tire hoping they'd be able to look at it. It was Sunday at around 4, so I wasn't overly shocked they couldn't squeeze it in, but whatever, it was there, so I went home to mom's place and left it there. They called the next day to say that the catalytic converter and the exhaust pipe was the... Read more

I recently took my car into be looked at as it had a slight squeaking noise, I left my car overnight as they did not have time to get to it that day apparently. I received a phone call the next day advising me the repairs that are needed to make my car "safe to drive again" would cost me approx. $3500.00. I was shocked how could that even be possible? So of course I asked them polietly to release my car back to me and I paid the fee they charged... Read more
